3H2M PULAU PERHENTIAN, TERENGGANU

Hi,

Ni kali pertama aku nak menulis trip percutian aku ke Pulau Perhentian, hahaha. Nnt last sekali aku akan list out total hangus. So, enjoy my writings and pictures!!!

DAY 0 – 10/7/2017

Dari TBS ke Kuala Besut, bas Perdana Express, pukul 10 malam. Bas ni bawak laju gila, nak elakan rasa takut so aku tidur sepanjang perjalanan. Bas perdana ni kebanyakan semua bas 2 tingkat tp masa tu seat kami kat tingkat bawah. Kalau tingkat atas mesti kecut perut sebab bas ni bawak laju semacam.

Aku pergi trip ni secara berkumpulan total 8 org, we all basically from KL. Kitaorg naik van tp tak perlu bayar sebab kawan sponsor, Hahahahhaha. Trip ni kitaorg guna pakej dari Perhentian Trans. Pakej dorng termasuk boat transfer, accommodation and snorkeling.

DAY 1- 11/7/2017

Kita org sampai terminal bas Kuala Besut pkul 5 pagi, awal kan? 7 jam je dah sampai. Ingat nak bersiap kat stesen bas je, tapi cari surau tak de pulak, so kitaorg decide nak ke jeti kuala besut. Call person in charge bawak kita org ke jeti naik van, tak sampai 5 minit dah sampai jeti. Lagi best bila depan jeti mmg ada surau, tnggal kena lintas jalan je. Surau dia ok la untuk solat and kitaorg siap2 sebelum naik boat.

kami dah ready untuk PANGGILAN PULAU!!!
After siap2, cari port untuk breakfast and jumpa travel agent untuk ambk semua ticket masa kat pulau nanti. Kita org ambk bot pkul 9 pagi tp bot smpai lewat sikit. Mula2 nak marah tp bila satu bot denagn foreigner hensem terus semua geng aku cool down. Ahhahahhaha. Dari jeti ke chalet kita org dlm 30 minit. Smpai je terus check in, unpacking, rehat and solat. Btw, kat chalet aku ni x de line kecuali tune talk. Kawan aku sorng ni dia pakai tune talk, so dia sorng je yg ada line, yg lain berhuhuhuhu jek.
hampa tgk air dia weyh,, jernih sgt!

Lepas zohor kita org ada aktiviti photoshoot bertemakan kain batik. Idea asal ialah dari aku sendiri sbb aku ternampak kat IG ada 3 org ni bergambar pakai kain batik, cunsss sesanggat. Tp mula2 aku bg idea x semua terus setuju sbb dorng kata x reti pakai.. aku pon malas nak paksa tp on that day semua berkain batik which is so lovely. Kita org photoshoot/ ber ootd dlm masa sejam sebelum tukar pakaian sbb lepas ni nak ke kincir angina plk. Tp sebelum tunggu bot smpai kita org sempat unch kat restaurant berdekatan. Aku makn seafood fried rice je dengan air teh’ o ais. Air dia je RM6 kau, teh’ o ais je pon.

me and the beach :)

relax je berselipar jepun, hahahahahha.

This photo was taken by mat saleh and turn out cunss sgt.

kain batik kami berwarna-warni kan?

Dari chalet nak ke tempat kincir angin tu 10 minit je by boat. Tempat dia subhanallah sgt cansss. Ohh btw, nak ke kincir angin dah tak blh naik direct tangga dia tau sbb kat bawah tu dah roboh sikit. So, semua org nak ke kincir angin kena mendaki melalui trek yg sedia ada.

'rock' and roll, hahahhahahahah

Nak ke puncak hanya 20-30 minit je tp sebelum kita org ke puncak kita org dah salah Jalan tau, dah membazir 45 minit sebabnya kita org tak nampak signboard wind mill belok ke kanan, kitaorg plk terus je menonong ke depan sbb khayal tgk hp masing2 nak update status sbb baru dapat line kan, hahahahhaha. So total aku nak smpai ke puncak ambik masa sejam lebih. Aku smpai puncak masa tu dah pkul 6 petang. Dah puas ambk gmbr, 6.30 petang kitaorg dah start gerak nak turun sbb takut kalau lambat hari makin gelap, kes naya pulak karang. Lagi pun, janji dengan abg bot tu nak suruh ambk pkul 7 malam.

so serene kan view dia, tenang je dekat top of wind mill ni.

ni wind mill yer, ada 2 je.

small love for you!!

Malam kita org makan meggi je and then main 3 game, dia punya gelak macam nak runtuh chalet tu. Hahaahahhahah

DAY 2- 12/7/2017

Hari kedua ni planning snorkeling je, janji dengan abang bot tu pkul 10. Tapi kami bersiap awal macam biasa la nak photoshoot kan. Aku mmg reti berenang, so snorkeling tu mmg x jd masalah besar bg aku, lg pun sbelum ni dah beberapa kali aku snorkeling kat tempat lain, tp jangan risau buat yg tak reti sbb dorng akan guide korang cara2 nak snorkeling kat tepi  pantai dulu. Beach boy akan bagi briefing kat korng smpai korng ok untuk kawal diri sendiri dalam air sbb lepas ni ada beberapa tempat yg air dia agak dalam dan arus kuat.

matahari pun blm nampak tp dah berootd, hahahhaa.

my little squad, nampak x air ni. mcm ka maldives oii!!

Total checkpoint untuk snorkeling ni ada 5 and bg aku yg paling best ialah dekat shark point sebab agak dalam dari checkpoint yg lain, dan mmg aku nmpk shark depan mata oiii tp yg kecik je la kan, pastu arus kat shark point ni kuat dari tempat lain (baru ada thrill sikit) and kat sini baru aku jumpa ikan berwarna warni (nemo pon ada). Checkpoint lain agak sendu bagi aku..

Untuk day 2 ni aku x de nak type panjang, korng tgk gambar je la ye.

Lepas snorkeling, balik chalet, kitaorg lunch dulu and smbng mandi kat tepi pantai. Ingt kan nak p naik bot tengok sunset tp cuaca mendung so kita org p ngeteh minum juice and makan burger je ptg tu.

DAY 3- 13/7/2017

Last day kat perhentian ada tema which is semua kena pakai baju warna putih and coincidently kitaorg bawak tudung yg warnanya hampir sama. Check out pkul 11 tp boat transfer dtg ambk pkul 12 and Pkul 10 kita org dah siap nak photoshoot.. hahahahahahahhah

ok, boyan ni paling special, sepanjang kat pulau, hari2 aku mesti nak kena lepak kat boyan ni, terbuai-buai. hahahahah

sesuci lebaran kan? sedondon gitewww

Dah smpai jeti around 12 lebih kita org lepak dulu smbil update status masing2, bas kita org pkul 8.30 mlm tp pkul 5 nak jumpa kawan aku punya kawan, senang cerita kwan akulah dia nak bawak g makan sate area situ, punya lah sedap sate dia smbil makn kat tepi pantai, uiiiiiii, love love love sgt.. hahahhahaha. Pastu kawan aku bawak kami ke rmh dia solat jamak and dia tlg hntarkan ke stesen bas. Bas kali ni dia bawak slow sikit, kitaorg smpai TBS pkul 5.30 pagi.

CHAPTER 10: STORE LAYOUT AND DESIGN

hi, we are at final chapter of retail management. this chapter will be short and more picture inserted.

All successful retailers will have storefronts that are noticeable, memorable and easily identified. It includes not only the store's front door décor, architecture, and building materials but also window display and any advertising. Poor performance here will dramatically lessen one’s overall traffic.

For interior design, the retailer focuses on 2 general elements. First is finishes applied surfaces which are the element of flooring using marble, wood, paint/stain or bare. CHAPTER 8: PROMOTIONAL STRATEGY

Hi,
For promotional strategy, the elements of the promotional mix are advertising, public relations, personal selling and sales promotion.

First, I will explain about elements of the promotional mix in advertising. Advertising is a paid, non-personal communication transmitted through out-of-store mass media by an identified sponsor. The advertising objectives for retailers are lifted short-term sales, increase customers traffic, develop and or reinforce a retail image. Other than that, inform customers about goods and services and company contributed, ease the job for sales personnel and develop demand for private brands.

Next, the elements in public relations. Public relation is communication that fosters a favorable image for the retailer. The objective of public relations for retailers is to increase awareness of the retailer and its strategy mix, maintain or improve the company image, show the retailer as a contributor to the public quality of life, demonstrative innovativeness present a favorable message in a highly believable manner and minimize total promotion cost.

Most of the woman are easily attracted with the promotion.

Third, personal selling. It’s an oral communication with one or more prospective customers for the purpose of making a sale. The objectives of personal selling for retailers are to persuade customers to buy, stimulated sales of impulse items or product related to customer basic purchases, completed customer transaction, feed information back to company decision makers, provide proper levels of customer service, improve and maintain customer satisfaction and create awareness of items also marketed through the web, mail, and telemarketing.

Finally, sales promotion is encompassed the paid communication activities other than advertising, public relations and personal selling that stimulate consumer purchases and dealer effectiveness. The advantages of sales promotion are an eye-catching appeal, distinctive themes, added customer value draws customers traffic and increases impulse purchases while the disadvantages of personal selling are difficult to terminate, possible damage to retailer image, more stress on frivolous selling points and short term effects only.

CHAPTER 7: PRICING IN RETAILING

Hi,
This posting I will explain about pricing in retailing. There are pricing options for retailers which are discount orientation, at the market orientation and upscale orientation. The factors affecting retail price strategy is consumers, government, manufacturers, wholesalers and other suppliers, current and potential competitors is the total effect on pricing strategy.

Price elasticity of demand is the sensitivity of customer to price changes in term of the quantities the will buy. Elastic is small percentage changes in price lead to substantial percentage changes in the number of units bought while inelastic is large percentage changes in price lead to small percentage changes in the number of units bought.

How do you determine the price that you pay is equivalent with the value?

Next, the government and retail pricing are horizontal price fixing, vertical pricing fixing, price discrimination, minimum price laws, unit pricing, item price removal and price advertising. Market pricing is retailers often price similarly to each other and have less control over price because consumers can easily shop around while administered pricing is firming seek to attract consumers on the basis of distinctive retailing mixes.

Price strategy was determined by demand-oriented pricing, cost-oriented pricing, and competition-oriented pricing.
The pro and cons of everyday low pricing. The pros are to reduced advertising expense, more predictable sales levels and fewer peaks and ebb of sales distribution while the cons are decreased excitement, potentially less store traffic due to specials and less “cherry-picking” by consumers who only purchase specials.

The reasons to use multiple-unit pricing are a firm could seek to have shoppers increase their total purchases of an item. Furthermore, this approached can help sell slow moving and end of season merchandise and price bundling may increase sales of related items.
Lastly, timing markdowns. Timing markdowns are early markdown policy, late markdown policy, staggered markdown policy, automatic markdown plan and storewide clearance.

CHAPTER 6: SITE LOCATION

Hi,
This chapter will be short. It will focus on site selection so happy reading!!
There are three types of location such as an isolated store, planned shopping center, and unplanned business district.

There are advantages and disadvantages for having isolated stores. For advantages, there are no direct competition, low rental costs, flexibility, good for convenience stores and others .There is also disadvantages for having isolated such as difficulty attracting customers, travel distance, high advertising expenses and some others.

99 Speedmart was a mini market that concentrated around neighborhood area.

For planned shopping centers as well, there are advantages for is well-rounded assortments, strong suburban population, one-stop and family shopping and transportation access. For disadvantages, it was limited flexibility, higher rental, and stiff competition.

Pros of ownership versus leasing are freedom over concern with lease renewal o though lease renewal negotiations with the property owner, ability to write off depreciation, possible capital appreciation from increased value of real estate and control over property maintenance.

Cons of ownership versus leasing are difficulty in securing locations in the neighborhood, community, and regional shopping centers, as tied up in real estate could be used for retail expansion, inventory, store renovation, and real estate activity can divert attention away from  retail activities.
Six terms of occupancy considerations were ownership versus leasing, type of lease, operations and maintenance costs, taxes, zoning restrictions and voluntary regulations.

As the conclusion, chapter 6 is similar to chapter 5 which is focused on location and site selection. It will help retailers to emphasize site selection as an important thing to open a store.
Finish of chapter 6, I will meet you guys on next chapter!!!

CHAPTER 5 : RETAIL LOCATION

Hi,
This posting I will explain about retail location. How would you choose a strategic location to maximize your customer and niche market? It will answer below so continue reading people!

Where you choose to locate your retail business will have a major impact on everything your shop does. The difference between selecting the wrong location and the right site could be the difference between business failure and success.

A retail location is shopping centers such as strips shopping centers and shopping malls. Next are city or town locations such as inner city and Main Street. Retail locations also are at free standing sites and other location opportunities.

There are 7 types of shopping malls which is regional centers, superregional centers, lifestyle centers, fashion or specialty centers, outlet centers, theme or festival centers and merchandise kiosks. The problems facing regional malls are competition from alternative, more convenient locations, focus on Apparel such as weak apparel sales, aging and demographic shifts.

Pavillion Kuala Lumpur was located at tourist area in the central of the city

Examine what kind of products you sell, as some goods will require certain types of locations. Would your store be considered a convenience store, a specialty shop or a shopping store? Convenience goods require easy access, allowing the customer to quickly make a purchase. A mall would not be a good location for convenience goods. This product type is lower priced and purchased by a wide range of customers.

If you are choosing a city or state to locate your retail store, research the area thoroughly before making a final decision. Read local papers and speak to other small businesses in the area. Obtain location demographics from the local library, chamber of commerce or the Census Bureau. Any of these sources should have information on the area's population, income and age.

Other area businesses in your prospective location can actually help or hurt your retail shop. Determine if the types of businesses nearby are compatible you're your store. For example, a high-end fashion boutique may not be successful next door to a discount variety store. Place it next to a nail or hair salon and it may do much more business.

Besides the base rent, consider all costs involved when choosing a retail store location. The location you can afford now and what you can afford in the future should vary. It is difficult to create sales projects on a new business, but one way to get help in determining how much rent you can pay is to find out what sales similar retail businesses are making and how much rent they're paying.
As the conclusion, all of you might have an idea of strategic location for your business soon. It will help you to make a wise decision so that you will not having a lot of trouble upon facing loses.

Finish of chapter 5, I will meet you guys on next chapter!!!
